David Puchi

Mr. Puchi, a lawyer by training, has founded and served as the co-manager of several thriving commercial real estate investment and management firms. He has been involved in closing over $1 billion in real estate transactions with experience spanning every facet of the real estate industry, including the creation and capitalization of investment entities, the sourcing of investment opportunities, the purchasing and selling of properties, negotiating various forms of ownership documentation and borrowing terms, developing improvement and leasing plans for property revitalization, and managing the day-to- day operations of commercial properties.

Most recently, Mr. Puchi has served as Managing Partner at Baceline Group LLC (“Baceline”), a property investment and management company based in Denver, Colorado which he co-founded in 2003. Baceline was the expansion of Highline Group LLC (“Highline”), a third-party property management company also based in Denver which Mr. Puchi founded in 1994. Over twenty years, Baceline and its affiliated entities have developed an impressive track record of raising and investing capital into a wide array of commercial properties, including primarily small and medium sized retail centers serving low-/moderate-income communities in secondary metropolitan areas across the United States.

After co-managing fund development and operations and property acquisition and management during Baceline’s initial growth period, Mr. Puchi concentrated his efforts over the last few years in overseeing the capital development growth engine for the company. He has been instrumental in raising approximately $500 million for Baceline’s various investment funds, including Baceline Income Property Holding Company, several No Debt Funds, and various single asset acquisitions that the firm or its affiliates have originated. Mr. Puchi has developed an international network of capital sources and continues to cultivate these sources for new endeavors including ECHO Real Estate Group, an investor in triple net early education properties, and now Allagash SFR Investment Management.

Prior to founding Highline and Baceline from 1992-1994, Mr. Puchi was a real estate asset manager for privately held real estate investment firm, Blackfox Real Estate Group, based in the Denver metropolitan area.

Mr. Puchi began his career practicing law for five years in Denver specializing in corporate mergers and acquisitions and real estate law. This experience included representing local, as well as national real estate companies and lenders. During that time, he held positions at Holme Roberts & Owen, a Denver-based law firm and Colorado National Bankshares, Inc., one of Colorado’s leading bank holding companies. His background as a transactional real estate attorney was well suited for entering the real estate industry as a principal.

Mr. Puchi has served on the Boards of several Colorado-based non-profit organizations generally serving the educational needs of children who live in poverty including Denver Kids Inc, Ace Scholarships, Fishing the Good Fight, Young People in Recovery, and the Arrupe Jesuit High School Work Study Program.

Mr. Puchi graduated from the University of Denver earning both a Bachelor of Arts Degree with honors and a Law Degree with honors. He has four children and resides with his wife in Denver, CO.
